Here’s a chance for kids in K-5 to have fun over winter break with super cool science experiments in a live interactive group! We’re meeting over Zoom, but in the words of one parent from the Spooky Science camp: “My three boys were so engaged, you’d never guess it was Zoom!”
Two days are offered, and you have the option of joining either one or both. Projects were selected by Professor K’s students, who picked them as their favorite experiments that they thought other kids would like! We will investigate DNA on Monday and take a deep-dive into slime on Tuesday. Each project takes under one hour and uses readily available and safe household materials. A list of required materials is provided ahead of time.
Dates and times of the Winter Break Science Mini-Camps are Noon PT / 3pm ET on Mon., Dec. 28 and Tues., Dec. 29.
Price is $10 per session (per family). Space is limited.

These projects are fun, AND kids will learn a lot too! Next Generation Science Standards are addressed, and a full list of how each project fulfills each science standard will be provided. This sheet will be handy for families who want to use these activities to meet requirements for homeschooling or distance learning.
